Supply Chain Planner

Responsibility:

  • Be accountable for on time delivery, manufacture lead time and cost of PCB, Substrate, Assembly and Components, manage project cost/lead time in a timely manner for HW business decision.
  • Negotiate with supplier on the project cost reduction on YOY basis
  • Plan and maintain project key milestone, monitor supplier production status on a daily basis, Escalation in case of project risk on quality, OTD and cost, define shots on goal action plan once OTD risk is exposed.
  • Regularly update project status to stakeholders, and make OTD projection to project team
  • Manage logistics plan for each project (shipment, custom clearance support).
  • Work with regional HW team, sales to provide suppliers with the volume forecast and therefore make material planning beforehand.
  • Maintain project data in OPS shared folder or system , including supplier quotes, technical files, P-card transaction records and credit notes log.
  • Update supplier scorecard, support line manager for QBR preparation.
  • PCB and Components inventory management.
  • Drive supplier operation excellence by defining mid-term, long-term goals together with SQE to improve supplier overall capability.
     
    Requirements:
  • 5 years full time planner experience from Semi-conductor or any other industries with the business nature of high mix and low volume;
  • Strong ownership in driving the project execution, proactive and positive thinking;
  • Can work under pressure, good at time management.
  • Knowledge in PCB manufacturing and passive components supplier base will be an advantage;
  • Good communication skills to work with cross-functional team, suppliers and customer;
  • Optimistic personality, patience for details, can-do attitude;
  • Good English level in both speaking and writing, Japanese skill will be considered as a big plus;
  • Experience in Oracle (supplier/material module);
  • Excellent in MS-Office, especially Excel, PPT;
  • Good team work spirit;
