Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Contract Manufacturing Manager provides strong oversight and leadership in operational activities between Teradyne and the Flex Suzhou manufacturing site.

 The responsibility includes:

  1. Managing & developing cross functional teams to achieve Teradyne’s objectives.
  2. Identifying process improvements and initiating change to enhance product quality.
  3. Increasing efficiency of operation to reduce cycle time and cost.
  4. Implementing systems that optimize production and maximize yield and output while minimizing defects in both material and processes.
  5. Strong communication skills and ability to effectively explain complex issues and ideas.

 The key metrics to manage and monitor:

  1. On time delivery of products to final customers.
  2. Capacity at all stages of the operation.
  3. Yield and product quality.
  4.  Stability metrics.
  5. Inventory and cost.

 Technical Knowledge, Skill and Education

  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Strong presentation and training skills
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and have the ability to apply creativity to improve processes
  6. Must have attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be customer focused
  7. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong time management skills
  8. Flexible to attend different time zone meetings with US
  9. Experience in electronic manufacturing and Printed Circuit Board preferred
  10. Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
     

Education:                                  

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering / technical field or business
  2. Advanced degree in Manufacturing Leadership or MBA preferred
