Design center Engineer Leader (TW DC team leader)

Role Summary

Leading a team focused on designing cutting-edge interface hardware for semiconductor testing, and need to ensure core value activities are in place and properly utilized.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of engineers and technicians

2. Coach team members in their technical and professional development

3. Design semiconductor ATE hardware solutions of next generation semiconductor devices for world-wide customers and write implementation specifications

4. Coordinate the activities of a cross-functional program team(Regional HW, Operation, Design and Quality) and monitor the progress of project from kick-off to NPI delivery and mass production.

5. Manage customer to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.

6. Follow-up and ensure timely closure of internal/external customer complaint.

7. Account for overall project management in terms of quality, schedule and cost.

8. Keep close communication with worldwide Teradyne teams, suppliers and customers

9. Deliver hardware design training and seminars to internal and external

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Education background:

1. BS/MS in EE is preferred. Well-know the PCB design, SI/PI knowledge, FAB operating.

2. 8 years or more related working experience on HW; DIB knowledge is highly preferred.

3. Expertise in one or two domains of (ATE test, DFM, DFA, simulation, mechanical, etc...)

4. Requires strong English and Chinese communication skills for technical discussions in verbal and written form. Able to communicate with suppliers, customers, and other design team around the world.

5. Strong willingness & capability to learn new things and apply learning in actual work

6. Strong project management skills and solid experiences on large scale load board designs

7. Has a good working attitude and can work under higher pressure & deal with constant requirement changes

8. Ability to multitask between multiple projects daily

9. Ability to successfully work in a global team, cross-functional environment

10. Ability to travel oversea for extended period of time
