Product Marketing Manager: Production Board Test

 

 

Teradyne is seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to lead our Production Board Test Marketing efforts. This role is pivotal in driving market success across key verticals including Datacenter, Automotive, EMS, and CM/ODM. The successful candidate will lead marketing operations and go-to-market strategies, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver measurable impact aligned to the Product Test Group’s growth objectives.

 

 

Impact & Opportunity

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing marketing strategies that directly influence profitable revenue growth, customer acquisition and engagement, and overall market penetration. This includes positioning Teradyne’s TestStation solutions to meet rapidly evolving industry needs, identifying competitive differentiators, and enabling sales teams with compelling value propositions. This role also requires close collaboration with Sales, Product Development, and Customer Support teams. The candidate will serve as the voice of the market, translating customer insights into product requirements and actionable marketing plans, while ensuring alignment across departments to deliver cohesive messaging and flawless execution.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision & Roadmap: Define and execute the long-term vision for our flagship TestStation production line, including identification of organic and inorganic initiatives, to meet the long-term growth objectives of the Product Test Group
  • Value Proposition Development: Collaborate with Sales and Product Development to create dynamic and compelling value propositions, tailored to diverse markets including High Performance Computing/AI, Automotive, and EMS/CM/ODM audiences while ensuring consistency and clarity across all communications.
  • Marketing & Messaging: Conduct market research and competitive analyses to inform strategic decisions. Support sales enablement through creation of marketing collateral and impactful training programs. Represent Production Board Test at industry events and customer engagements.
  • Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Development, Sales, and Operations to drive strategic initiatives that maximize market share and enhance profit margins.
  • Product Management: Maintain price books, oversee configuration management, coordinate product releases, and product lifecycle management

 

 

Essential Functions

  • Ensure that there is a consistent and comprehensive “go-to-market” strategy and execution plan for the TestStation production line; aligning the product strategy and messaging with the overall platform vision and value proposition.
  • Develop and deploy product pricing strategies
  • Own and drive the TestStation product roadmap and life-cycle management of existing products
  • Own and drive content creation to support our lead generation objectives
  • Develop compelling technical differentiation collateral and deliver to sales and field engineers
  • Track and synthesize market, installed-base, and revenue forecast to support quarterly business reviews, investor relations, and the executive management team
  • Identify emerging market trends or segments with implications on our TestStation product strategy
  • Actively participate in external conferences and industry forums to both nurture strategic VOC as well as enhance the Teradyne brand
  • Develop and foster strategic relationships at customers and ecosystem partners which lead to a competitive advantage for Teradyne

 

 

Required Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education

  • 10+ years of marketing experience in the electronics manufacturing equipment industry (Assembly Test preferred)
  • BS in engineering
  • MBA preferred, or equivalent management experience
  • Strong influence, leadership, analytical, synthesis skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

 

This role requires an extensive amount of integration and visibility across all functions of the business and at all levels.
