The Position

Our new Technical Sales Engineer is expected to grow revenue and market share by developing our indirect channel (distributors and system integrators) in close collaboration with the team located in our regional office in Barcelona and reporting to our Country Manager for Iberia. The position is based in the Barcelona Office.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support the existing channel partner network in development of the SME market through highly qualified technical product knowledge participating in joint customer visits
  • Develop and enhance business in Distributors, System Integrators and OEM’s through product presentations, follow up on opportunities and projects and providing highly qualified technical product knowledge and advice
  • Participation in seminars, trade shows and other promotional events



Strong technical background with sales experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of technical sales experience in automation, preferably in control, automation components, and/or robotics
  • Experience with sales of complex technical solutions
  • Technical mind-set with a genuine interest in technology and automation
  • Strong communication skills at all levels as well as a strong customer orientation
  • Native Spanish and high level of English
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
